Refund policy

Introduction:

At Nom Plates, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products tailored to our customers' specifications. We understand the importance of satisfaction with every purchase. However, due to the custom nature of our number plates, our return policy varies based on the type of product purchased. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns are accepted.

1. Customised Number Plates:

1.1. Non-Returnable: Due to the personalised nature of our number plates, all sales are final. Once an order is placed and produced, it cannot be returned for a refund or exchange, except in the cases outlined below.

1.2. Manufacturing Errors: If you believe your number plate has a manufacturing error or defect, please contact our customer service team within 14 days of receiving your order. We will require photographic evidence of the defect. If we determine that the error was on our part, we will offer one of the following resolutions:

  • Replacement Parts: As a first course of action, we will dispatch the necessary replacement parts to rectify the error.
  • Return for Amendments: If the issue cannot be resolved with replacement parts, we may ask for the plate to be returned so we can make the necessary amendments. In such a case, we will cover all costs of postage.
  • Partial Refund: Depending on the severity of the error or defect, we may also offer a partial refund as a resolution.
  • Full Replacement: If none of the above options are feasible, we will send a complete replacement order at no additional cost to the customer.

1.3. Defects Defined: Vehicle number plates are designed to be viewed from a distance, outdoors, and in a range of conditions. Minor flaws that may be visible upon close inspection due to the hand-assembled nature of our products will not be considered defects if they are not visible from a distance of 1.5 meters away. Under some circumstances, we may agree to offer some sort of resolution if multiple defects are visible from a distance of 1 meter away; however, this will be at our discretion and dependent on the nature of the faults.

1.4. Order Details: It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all details provided during the order process, including the registration number, font, and any other customisation, are accurate. Nom Plates will not be held responsible for errors made by the customer during the ordering process.

2. Accessories and Non-Customised Items:

2.1. Return Period: Accessories and other non-customised items can be returned within 30 days of receipt. Items must be in their original, unused condition and in their original packaging.

2.2. Return Process: To initiate a return for an accessory or non-customised item, please contact our customer service team with your order number and reason for return. Once your return is approved, you will receive instructions on how to send the item back.

2.3. Refunds: Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, if it is in its original condition, a refund will be processed to the original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.

2.4. Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received was damaged or incorrect.

3. General Provisions:

3.1. Communication: All communication regarding returns should be directed to our customer service team. We aim to respond to all queries within 48 hours.

3.2. Amendments: Nom Plates reserves the right to amend this return policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is the responsibility of the customer to review any changes made.
