There is something about gel number plates that just looks wet and expensive, and this pair takes that up a level by lifting every letter onto a clear glass-like float layer first. The result is a raised character that seems to hover a fraction off the plate, with a bright clear rim glowing underneath a deep gloss black cap. Catch these 3D plates in the sun and the edges light up like glass. It is one of those finishes people lean in to look at.

The Build

Each character begins life cut from a 3mm clear acrylic float layer, which raises the letter off the plate and carries the light around its crisp edge. On top of that sits a domed gel resin in rich gloss black, rounded and glossy so it holds reflections and gives real depth. That clear float layer peeking out beneath the black is what sets this apart from standard gel plates and gives it that floating, three-dimensional look from every angle.

On the Road

Made as a matching front and rear pair in the standard 520 x 111mm size, white front and yellow rear, laid out with correct even spacing so your registration stays clean and easy to read. Fully road legal, and as with all our raised number plates we laser engrave the maker details and BSAU number into the plate rather than printing them across the front, so the face stays clean and the marks are practically invisible from a normal distance.
