Some custom number plates shout for attention and some earn it slowly. This pair of 3D number plates does the second. In the shade the raised letters read soft and matte, calm and understated, but the moment the sun catches them a slim gloss ridge running down the centre of every character lights right up. It is a finish you notice more the longer you look, and it feels every bit as good under your fingertips as it looks on the car.

The Build

Each letter is stacked by hand to a full 8mm of depth. It starts with a 5mm matte base that gives the character its solid, glare-free body, then a 3mm gloss pyramid topper is added on top, where a slim raised platform runs along the centre while the sides step down. That mix of matte flanks and a glossy central spine is what makes these pyramid 3D plates shift between subtle and striking as the light moves. This is proper hand-built raised lettering, not a printed effect, so it sits genuinely proud of the plate with real presence.

On the Road

Supplied as a matching front and rear pair of custom number plates in the standard 520 x 111mm size, so they drop straight onto almost any car with correct, even spacing. These are fully road legal 3D plates too. A big advantage of our 3D and 4D number plates is that we laser engrave our maker details and BSAU number straight into the acrylic rather than printing them across the face, so from a normal distance the marks are practically invisible and you keep a clean, flawless finish that stays compliant.
