This build is all about chunky, blocky attitude on a smaller canvas. The lettering stands a full 9mm proud in stacked red and black, and against the shorter import-size plate it looks even blockier and bolder. The owner then went a step further and added a tiny extra front plate for side mounting on their Subaru, so these custom show plates carry the look front and back.

The Build

Each character is stacked from two layers of red acrylic with a black acrylic top, taking the lettering to a full 9mm of height with a slim red edge glowing out beneath the black. On the import-size rear that thickness reads extra chunky against the compact plate. The matching front is a custom extra-small plate for side mounting, built with the very same 9mm lettering thickness but on shorter 30mm-height characters, so it keeps the attitude while fitting a tight mounting spot.
