Imported cars so often end up with the wrong number plate, a long UK slab bolted over a recess that was designed for something shorter and squarer. This pair of JDM import plates is the fix. Cut to the 330 x 165mm JDM size and built with proper 4D lettering at the legal height, they fill the factory recess the way it was meant to be filled.
The Build
The plates are cut to the 330 x 165mm JDM import format, so the registration is arranged over two lines to suit the shorter, taller shape and sits in the recess properly instead of leaving big gaps. The characters are laser cut from 3mm acrylic in our 4D style and set at 64mm tall, which is the legal character height, so you get that solid raised 4D look while staying on the right side of the rules for imports. Clean, deep-black and correct.
On the Road
Road legal and sized specifically for imported vehicles. As with all our 4D number plates we laser engrave the maker details and BSAU number straight into the plate rather than printing them across the face, so the front stays clean while remaining fully compliant. A neat, correct fit for JDM and grey imports that usually get lumbered with the wrong shape.
